A chiropodist is a foot specialist - a regulated health professional who specializes in the assessment, treatment, and diagnosis of a broad range of medical conditions of the foot. Chiropodists are licensed by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. Chiropodists can assess your foot concerns and needs and provide care or recommendations as needed. Chiropodists can provide both routine and high-risk care, soft tissue procedures, and prescribe medication if necessary.

No, chiropodist services are not covered under OHIP however any extended health insurance plans include coverage for chiropodists.
Receipts for chiropodist services paid out-of-pocket can also be kept for personal income tax submissions.

Yes, we provide direct billing for plans that permit chiropodists to direct bill to them. Please let us know if you have extended health benefits.
